Athens to Host CEV Cup
Final 4
LUXEMBOURG, 24 February -- Athens has been appointed
to host the Final Four of the 2009 Men's European CEV Cup,
fetauring the home team of Panathinaikos, plus Bre Banca
Lannutti Cuneo of Italy, Lokomotiv-Belogorie Belgorod of
Russia and Unicaja Almeria of Spain. The competition will
begin with the semifinals on Saturday 21 March and conclude
with the bronze medal match and the final on Sunday 22
March.
